Process assessment

We map academic and financial processes, systems, owners and existing interfaces. We work with examples of charges, payments, adjustments and academic changes prioritized by the institution.

DUOC Chile.

We have worked with SAP at UNIMINUTO for many years. More recently, we conducted an assessment at DUOC Chile involving SAP FI-CA and Ellucian Banner. These are distinct experiences: long-term SAP work and a systems assessment, respectively.

Integration is designed for your ecosystem.

Ellucian provides integration capabilities and APIs; availability depends on product, release, deployment and contract. We do not assume a ready-made SAP–Banner connector fits every institution. The assessment defines what to exchange, through which mechanism and with which checks. Personal data and access are handled under the institution’s policies.

Before we begin.

Does an assessment include implementing an integration?

They are different scopes. An assessment establishes the current state, gaps and options. Any later implementation is agreed separately, with its own design, responsibilities, tests and deliverables.

Do we need to replace SAP or Banner?

That is not a starting requirement. We first review each system’s role and the institution’s needs. Decisions to retain, integrate or evolve systems follow from that analysis.

Who should take part in the workshops?

Academic process owners, finance and technology teams, alongside people who understand interfaces and daily operations. Participation is tailored to the assessment scope.
